Esports Showcase with NEP the Netherlands and Zero Density at IBC 2019
This year’s IBC was full of spectacular events. One of them especially stood out: The Esports Showcase
In the auditorium IBC hosted live esports demonstration featuring the popular game Counter-Strike. Two professional teams qualified from ESL (Electronis Sports League)’s network of National Championships across Europe were determined to give spectators a unique insight into the excitement of esports competition.
Located next to the esports competition in the auditorium, NEP The Netherlands built a green screen studio to host a commentary show with augmented reality. The pop up studio is geared with 2 Zero Density Engines, Startracker from Mo-sys for tracking and cameras from Grass Valley, all operated by one person.
Train station and the overpass locations were created from the Counter Strike game ad brought to the audience in 4K. Virtual studio and AR is powered by Zero Density.
