NENT Group’s Super Bowl Segment With Virtual Studio
NENT is leading the way for investing and implementing latest technologies to respond to the needs of users and audience in the Nordic region. A step into this direction, Nordic Entertainment Group has partnered with NEP the Netherlands and Zero Density to create a virtual set that is hyper realistic, multi-purpose and immersive. Zero Density’s real-time broadcast compositor Reality provided high end rendering and Reality Keyer advanced keying in order to translate NENT’s vision into visually spectacular, photo-realistic sets.
NEP The Netherlands Designs the Set
The show utilized 3 cameras with 3 Reality Engines and Reality Control Application. Zero Density’s industry first real-time image-based keyer Reality Keyer has provided advanced keying of contact shadows and sub pixel details such as hair. Stype’s RedSpy is used for tracking augmented reality objects. NEP’s team has designed the astonishing set for the Super Bowl coverage. In additional to the work of talented technical artists and designers, NEP’s own Cube application allowed a smoother operation of the virtual reality and augmented reality elements, in real-time. Last but not least, the studio is a fully automated one where all cameras are controlled from the production control room.
