Sony hosts Zero Density: VR AR Studio Simplified Webinar

According to Futuresource Consulting, the sales of PTZ cameras are to increase by 37% for the next 3 years.  The rise of the PTZ is certain considering that manufacturers will continue delivering professional broadcast level PTZ cameras to the market that can do more with less. Especially, when PTZ cameras support Free-D protocol and hence tracking, they become an invaluable tool for budget or space constrained studios.

Zero Density develops virtual production tools to empower the state-of-the-art productions and studios around the globe ranging from a coffee-room size venues to arenas. Real-time node-based compositor Reality supports industry standard mechanical and optical tracking systems. Additionally, it is compatible with any tracking device that is using FreeD protocol.

In August, Sony announced the upgrade of its remote camera range to support Free-D protocol, opening up new creative possibilities. Being part of FreeD development from the beginning, Zero Density became a key guest on Sony’s first webinar on the topic: “VR AR Studio Simplified Webinar”. Sony and ZD discuss how to set up VR/AR studio using Sony BRC-X1000/H800 new V2.1 firmware supporting FreeD protocol with Reality.
