Tokyo Virtual Runway Live by GirlsAward
“Tokyo Virtual Runway Live by GirlsAward”, a live fashion and music show took the virtual stage for 3 hours, entertaining its vast online audience. Virtual elements powered by Reality and tracking by Stype RedSpy.
Due to the pandemic, numerous live performances, concerts and events are cancelled or postponed globally. Facing a similar situation with their semi-annual event, GirlsAward decided to go virtual. Combining music and fashion, GirlsAward is one of the biggest fashion events in Japan, with approximately 30,000 people attending each time. The team wanted to offer quality entertainment during these unprecedented times.
GirlsAward teamed up with TV and video entertainment company ABEMA TV to host the live virtual night filled with fashion and music. ABEMA’s streaming website launched “pay-per-view” feature to offer paid, CG/AR-based high-quality online live entertainment, providing a platform for all the fans to gather and interact with the show. Tokyo Virtual Runway Live hosted not just the fashion runway but also a live music show.
Reality Virtual Studio integration was carried by CyberHuman productions.
