Reality Engine 2.10 is Released!

Reality Engine 2.10 is based on Unreal® Engine 4.24 with new features and improved rendering performance. All of the Compositing, Network, I/O code has been moved to an Unreal plugin, which means Reality Engine is now a plugin!

Here are some sneak peek features:

  • Shader cache is now shipped with Editor distribution, which skips long shader compilations times after first install.
  • Experimental Text3D plugin from Unreal enabled.
  • Tracked Billboard node supports to look at “Flying Camera”, along with new debugging tools to show borders.
  • New Panasonic PTZ control plugin on Action Builder allows calling preset positions.
  • PostProcess nodes Exposure property is replaced with Brightness property, which allows consistent default exposure values between Editor and Engine.
