Reality-Powered Coverage of 2022 French Presidential Election Locks the Audience to the Screen
TF1’s coverage of the much-anticipated 2022 French presidential election was powered by Reality, locking the audiences at home to the screens through immersive data and content visualization.
The leading TV channel in France trusted AD-TV to present the most important election of France in real-time in an interactive, informative and eye-catching manner. Two Reality Engines 4.27 were used to power the resplendent AR graphics, along with RealityHub for live data feed of the election results. A frame-accurate complete synchronization was achieved with all the elements of the virtual production environment.
Various AR content was shown ranging from pop-up totems of each president candidate running in the election to a huge picture banner above the hosts detailing critical information. The hosts were able to move freely and seamlessly within the studio space to discuss and offer insight into what the audience tuning into the election at home was seeing, elevating the viewing experience. What a creative and technical achievement!
